
In co-operation with Huaneng Power International, Inc., China National Nuclear Corp., China National Petroleum Corp., Gezhouba Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Group Co., and Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research Under Changjiang Water Resources Commission, the CTGPC initiated the establishment of The China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (as referred to the CYPC below), a limited-liability company. The CYPC’s business includes electric power production, management and investment, technological consultation for electric power production, overhaul and maintenance for hydropower works.
Established on November 4, 2002, the CYPC was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange on November 18, 2003. The company finished its reform of non-tradable shares on August 2005.
